Job summary

Qualifications

• High School or GED required.
• SSL/Serve-Safe license required.
• 2–3 years institutional food service experience.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations in food service for patients and department.
• Ensure staffing is adequate to meet department needs and assign daily tasks.
• Maintain safety and sanitation per DOH and Joint Commission guidelines.
• Provide ongoing training, evaluation and placement of staff.
• Interact with clinical teams to resolve diet-related concerns.
• Lead area huddles and participate in performance discussions.
