Qualifications

• Two years quantity and/or restaurant-style cooking experience required.
• One year experience in direct food service operations supervision preferred.
• Strong knowledge of cooking methods and food and catering trends with focus on quality, production, sanitation, and presentation required.

Responsibilities

• Supervises day-to-day kitchen operations to ensure timely meal service and adherence to quality and sanitation standards.
• Supervises and assists in preparation of all products and meals according to planned menus and recipes.
• Portions food according to standard sizes and recipe specifications.
• Monitors inventory and coordinates with supervisor for food production and menu planning.
• Maintains resident dietary needs in accordance with prescribed diet orders.
• Maintains clean and sanitary work areas and equipment; participates in cleaning duties.
