Job summary

Educational Data Systems, Inc. (EDSI) is seeking a WIOA Career Advisor (Career Services) to deliver customer-centered services, assist with registration, job search preparation, and career guidance within SLATE and the jobs.mo.gov system.

The role requires managing a caseload up to 80 new job seekers annually, developing Individual Employment Plans, and collaborating with Case Managers to identify and remove barriers to employment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, education, human services or a related field with a minimum of 3 years in workforce development.
• Experience providing career development assistance.
• Must have notable experience in a team-oriented environment and strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with customers to introduce SLATE services, workshops, and training.
• Assist with registration, job search prep, workshop registration, and resume review using jobs.mo.gov.
• Review eligibility records for WIOA registration and complete required data entry.
• Maintain participant files and follow-up services to meet program goals.
• Create and monitor Individual Employment Plans and manage a caseload up to 80 new seekers per year.
