Job summary

EDSI is seeking a Career Advisor to assess jobseekers, determine suitable employment pathways, and provide ongoing support for employment retention and advancement. You will build relationships, document applicant progress, and coordinate referrals to One Stop services and related programs.

The role emphasizes individualized assessments, eligibility determination, and maintaining accurate case files while supporting customers through contracted services and program orientations.

Qualifications

• Career counseling or case management experience.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and document visits and contacts.
• Demonstrated telephone, computer, and written communication skills.
• Ability to maintain flexibility as needs of contract or contractor required.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Assess jobseekers and determine the appropriate path to return to work.
• Provide support in gaining and retaining employment and career advancement.
• Maintain organized databases and detailed documentation of all contacts.
• Track customer activities and services in case progress notes and reports.
• Assist in workshop scheduling and enrollment documentation.
