Qualifications
- Active Nurse Practitioner license in the United States in good standing.
- Minimum of 1 year of Nurse Practitioner experience.
- Experience in medical disability examinations preferred.
- Basic Life Support certification (BLS) required.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive medical disability examinations for Veterans, including history review, examinations, and functional assessment.
- Review and analyze medical records and diagnostic results relevant to VA claims.
- Render objective medical opinions based on examination findings and records.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to obtain additional information as needed.
- Document examination findings in VA-compliant reports and recommendations.
- Maintain HIPAA compliance and protect patient confidentiality.
