Job summary

Loyal Source is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to conduct VA Compensation & Pension examinations. You will review records, perform focused exams, and render objective opinions on disability and work capacity.

Expect 10% travel to clinics as needed and collaboration with QA teams to ensure compliant, high-quality reports. Base pay plus monthly incentives totaling $143,124.80–$173,124.80 annually; charting from home may be required and VAs guidelines followed.

Qualifications

Must have NP license and active US licensure in good standing.
Minimum 1 year of experience as a Nurse Practitioner or in a medical disability examination setting.
Basic Life Support certification required; renewals as needed.
Previous military experience or familiarity with veterans is preferred.
Specialized training in Medical Disability Evaluations or related fields is advantageous.
Ability to conduct comprehensive medical assessments and interpret diagnostic tests.

Responsibilities

Conduct Comprehensive Medical Disability Examinations including history review and focused physical examinations.
Review medical records and diagnostic results to inform evaluations.
Provide objective medical opinions on veterans' health issues and work capacity.
Maintain case management within the QA system and communicate with QA team.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to obtain needed information.
Document examination findings clearly following VA guidelines and formats.
