Job summary

Loyal Source is seeking an Examiner to conduct Compensation & Pension examinations for Veterans applying for VA disability benefits. The role includes reviewing records, performing focused assessments, and providing medical opinions based on the record.

Charting from home may be required, and up to 10% travel to other clinics may be necessary. The position requires an active Nurse Practitioner license, at least 1 year of NP experience, and strong communication skills with HIPAA awareness.

Qualifications

• Active Nurse Practitioner license in good standing in the United States.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Nurse Practitioner.
• Experience in medical disability examinations preferred; ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive medical disability examinations for Veterans.
• Review medical history, perform focused exams, and assess functional impact.
• Render objective medical opinions based on exams and records.
• Coordinate with QA, document findings in VA-compliant reports.
