Job summary
Loyal Source Government Services seeks a Nurse Practitioner Examiner to conduct Compensation & Pension examinations for Veterans applying for VA disability benefits. Qualified candidates must hold an active NP license in the United States, work independently yet collaboratively, and meet HIPAA and VA requirements.
Qualifications
- Graduate of a professional nursing program with NP license.
- Active NP license in the United States and unrestricted practice.
- Minimum 1 year of Nurse Practitioner experience.
- Experience in medical disability examinations or related field preferred.
- Basic Life Support certification required.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive medical disability examinations for Veterans.
- Review medical records and diagnostic tests to form a clear health history.
- Render objective medical opinions per VA guidelines.
- Maintain case management with workload and QA team coordination.
- Document findings clearly in VA-compliant reports.
