Job summary

Fort Bragg Federal Credit Union is seeking a Business Loan Officer to source, develop, and close business loans within North Carolina. The role focuses on a multi-county footprint and collaborates with underwriters and credit teams.

The ideal candidate brings 5–8 years in business lending, strong communication skills, and a proactive approach to client relations. Travel locally is required.

Qualifications

• High School education or GED.
• Must be able to meet the qualifications necessary to be registered with the NMLS under the provisions set forth by the S.A.F.E. Act.
• On an annual basis, it is required to complete mandatory Bank Secrecy Act, OFAC and Red Flag Identity Theft training.

Responsibilities

• Leads and executes business development initiatives by identifying and pursuing new sales opportunities to expand our business/commercial lending portfolio.
• Assists borrowers in completing business loan applications; gathers documents, analyzes information and submits packages to underwriters.
• Consults with members and prospects on a variety of business loan offerings; discusses alternatives, pricing and requirements.
• Follows up on incomplete applications and assists borrowers with questions and intentions.
