Job summary

LifeWise Academy is seeking a part-time LifeWise teacher for grades 6-12 who will teach using LifeWise curriculum, build relationships with students, and support spiritual growth. Candidates should have at least two years of classroom teaching experience and a mature Christian faith aligned with LifeWise beliefs; active participation in a local church is required.

• Minimum of two years of classroom teaching experience in school or church settings.
• Mature personal Christian faith aligned with LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith.
• Active participation in a local church whose doctrine aligns with LifeWise Academy beliefs.

Responsibilities

• Complete Initial and Ongoing Training including LifeWise Teacher Certification Course within 30 days of start date.
• Teach LifeWise classes using LifeWise curriculum and map curriculum to needs.
• Maintain accurate student attendance records and class rosters.
• Prepare lesson plans, information and materials for substitute teachers.
• Maintain an organized, encouraging classroom environment with redemptive discipline.
• Communicate regularly with program director and promote LifeWise mission.
