Job summary

LifeWise Academy seeks a part-time LifeWise Secondary Education teacher to guide students in grades 6-12 with solid Bible knowledge and engaging instruction. Candidates should demonstrate mature faith, strong communication, and a commitment to local church affiliations.

The role includes completing the LifeWise Teacher Certification, regular training, and delivering life-ready lessons using LifeWise materials, while maintaining accurate records and fostering a safe, relational classroom.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of classroom teaching experience (with students) in either a school or church setting
• A mature personal Christian faith in agreement with the LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith
• Active participation in and commitment to a local church whose doctrine aligns with the LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith

Responsibilities

• Complete Initial and Ongoing Training
• Teach LifeWise Classes using LifeWise curriculum and map out curriculum customization
• Maintain accurate student attendance records and class rosters
• Prepare adequate lesson plans and materials for substitutes
• Maintain a clean, organized classroom and manage age-appropriate lessons
• Communicate with school personnel, volunteers, and program director; promote LifeWise mission
