Job summary

LifeWise Academy seeks part-time Secondary Education teachers for grades 6-12 who demonstrate in-depth Bible knowledge and strong teaching abilities. The ideal candidate is an active church participant with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, who is caring, committed, and proficient in delivering LifeWise curricula.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of classroom teaching experience (with students) in either a school or church setting.
• A mature personal Christian faith in agreement with the LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith
• Active participation in and commitment to a local church whose doctrine aligns with the LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith

Responsibilities

• Complete Initial and Ongoing Training
• Teach LifeWise Classes using the LifeWise curriculum and age-appropriate lessons
• Maintain accurate student attendance records and class rosters
• Prepare lesson plans and materials for substitute teachers
• Maintain a clean, organized classroom environment and promote spiritual growth
• Communicate with school personnel, volunteers, and the program director to ensure student well-being and schedule alignment
