Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children on the autism spectrum. You will implement individualized behavior plans under a BCBA, applying evidence-based techniques to build communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing challenging behaviors.

The role emphasizes patience, teamwork, and a passion for helping children reach their full potential, with training provided and opportunities to grow within Centria Autism.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• CPR, First Aid certification and TB test required (if not current).
• Pre-employment background check required.
• Ability to move in various positions and lift up to 50 pounds.
• RBT certification to be obtained after onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under BCBA guidance.
• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills using evidence-based techniques.
• Assist in creating a supportive, safe, and respectful environment for children and families.
