Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children in our programs. You will implement individualized behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a BCBA and use evidence-based techniques to teach essential skills while reducing interfering behaviors.

Comprehensive training is provided, and a strong emphasis on teamwork and compassionate care is emphasized. The role involves physical activity and lifting up to 50 pounds as part of supporting

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• Must be 18 years or older and have a HS diploma or GED.
• Must be able to obtain CPR/First Aid certification and TB test; pass background check.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under a BCBA.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Assist children in applying skills while reducing interfering behaviors.
