Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join as Registered Behavior Technicians. You will work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a BCBA. You will use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social and daily living skills.

Applicants should be patient, compassionate, and able to work in a team. Training is provided, and you can earn your RBT certification after onboarding.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age and high school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR and First Aid certifications and a TB test.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
• Must obtain RBT certification after onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under BCBA supervision.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Assist children while maintaining safety and comfort during activities; stand, walk, and lift up to 50 pounds when needed.
