Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join as Registered Behavior Technicians. You will work one-on-one with children with autism, implementing individualized plans under a BCBA, teaching communication and life skills using evidence-based methods.

Training is provided; no prior experience required. You must be patient, compassionate, and able to lift up to 50 pounds. CPR/First Aid and TB test are required, with RBT certification due within 45 days of onboarding.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age; high school diploma or GED.
• CPR and First Aid certifications and TB test (within 1 year).
• Ability to obtain pre-employment background check and lift/carry up to 50 lbs.
• Registered Behavior Technician certification required within 45 days of onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children implementing behavior intervention plans.
• Support BCBA guidance and use evidence-based techniques.
• Help teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Ensure safety during activities and positions with children weighing up to 50 pounds.
