Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking a Behavior Technician to work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under a BCBA. You will use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing interfering behaviors.

Training is provided, and candidates will obtain an RBT certification after onboarding. The role involves physical activity and a supportive, team-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Willing to obtain CPR/First Aid and TB test.
• Must pass pre-employment background check.
• Obtain RBT certification after onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children implementing behavior intervention plans under BCBA guidance.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Help reduce interfering behaviors and monitor progress.
• Collaborate with the team and complete onboarding procedures.
