Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic Registered Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children with autism under the guidance of a BCBA. You will implement individualized behavior plans and use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing challenging behaviors.

We provide comprehensive training and value patient, compassionate team players who are excited to make a meaningful difference in children's lives.

Qualifications

• Patience and empathy to work with children with autism.
• Ability to work well in a team.
• Must be 18+ years old.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to obtain CPR/First Aid certification and TB test.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
• Ability to move in various positions (sit, stand, bend, etc.).
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one instruction to children with autism.
• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under BCBA supervision.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Help reduce interfering behaviors and support child progress.
