Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children with autism, helping implement individualized intervention plans under a BCBA. You will use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing interfering behaviors.

Candidates should be patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team. Training is provided; you may gain a Registered Behavior Technician certification after onboarding.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work in a team.
• 18+ years of age with a high school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR and First Aid certification and TB test.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children and implement behavior plans under BCBA guidance.
• Teach communication, social and daily living skills using evidence-based techniques.
• Reduce interfering behaviors and support child development.
• Be able to stand, walk, sit, lift and assist as part of daily tasks.
