Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join as Registered Behavior Technicians to support children with autism. You will work one-on-one, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under a BCBA, teaching communication, social, and daily living skills with evidence-based techniques.

We provide comprehensive training; candidates should be patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age
• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to obtain CPR, First Aid Certification and TB test
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check
• Ability to move in various positions (sit, stand, bend, lift up to 50 pounds)
• Must obtain RBT certification after onboarding

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a BCBA.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social and daily living skills, while reducing interfering behaviors.
• Collaborate with the team and participate in comprehensive training to support each child.
