Toppan Merrill in Saint Paul, MN is seeking an Accounts Payable & Receivable Specialist to join our team. The role covers AP/AR data entry, vendor management, and month-end activities with training onsite and a hybrid schedule thereafter.

The candidate will handle discrepancies, perform audits, and support internal clients. Must have 3+ years in accounting with proficiency in Oracle and Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in accounting data entry with high accuracy and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
• Previous experience in Oracle Accounting Software or other accounting systems
• Solid knowledge of Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) processes

Responsibilities

• Maintain vendor database and update banking and tax IDs for US, including international details.
• Investigate and resolve AP discrepancies and vendor inquiries; manage group mailboxes.
• Investigate AR receipt discrepancies and manage related inquiries; maintain group mailboxes.
• Run weekly AP aging reports and AR deferred revenue report for billing review.
• Month-end pre-close reporting for Alliance and Oracle; support audit requests as needed.
• Assist employees, vendors, clients with account inquiries and procedures.
• Audit expense reports and check freight invoices for accuracy; review coding and approvals.
