Job summary

Right At School is seeking an on-call Educator to support after-school and school-day enrichment programs in Arcadia, CA. The role emphasizes safe, engaging activities and a positive learning environment for children, with a 2pm-6pm schedule and competitive hourly pay.

Ideal candidates bring customer service excellence, teamwork, and 1+ year experience with children. The position offers flexible hours and opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• Outstanding customer service and relationship-building skills.
• Works well in a team environment.
• Must be 18 years or older with a Highschool diploma or Equivalent.
• At least 1 year of experience working with children under 13 years of age.
• College credits in early childhood education, child development, elementary education or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Organize program materials for lessons and activities, as well as document attendance, incidents, and other observation.
• Deliver our dynamic daily curriculum to engage children in academic and social character-building that expands school-day learning in a meaningful way.
• Using coursework training and our in-person training, model positive guidance and effective classroom management to maintain safety and wellbeing.
• Excellent communication skills with varied audiences including children, parents, staff, and school personnel.
• Meets regularly with the Program Manager regarding professional progress and team accountability.
