Job summary

Alora Behavioral Health is seeking an ABA Behavior Technician to work one-on-one with clients to support developmental milestones and improve quality of life. You will deliver ABA services under supervision, collect progress data, and collaborate with BCBA supervisors, while engaging families and caregivers in training and support.

The role offers paid training, flexible part‑time or full‑time options, and opportunities for BCBA supervision hours for qualifying candidates.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Preferred: currently enrolled in college or have completed some college coursework.
• Minimum 6 months' work experience or exposure to individuals with disabilities (direct experience preferred).
• Availability of at least 15 hours per week, afternoons/evenings (3:00 pm–8:00 pm windows).
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Valid driver’s license and proof of auto insurance (reimbursement for travel time).
• Successfully pass a criminal background check, TB tests, pre-employment exam, and provide proof of immunity to MMR and Varicella.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct ABA services under supervision (Supervisor/BCBA).
• Collect data on goals during sessions as per treatment plan.
• Work with individuals with autism in home, community, school, clinic, or other sites.
• Address challenging behaviors using positive behavior support techniques.
• Assist with caregiver support and training.
• Arrive on time and complete sessions, timecards, and notes per policy.
• Collaborate with Supervisors/BCBAs and adhere to ethics and policies.
• Assist with new-hire training through overlaps and shadowing.
