Job summary

Alora Behavioral Health in California is seeking an ABA Behavior Technician to work one-on-one with clients, helping them reach developmental milestones and improve quality of life.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED required; college coursework preferred.
• Experience: Minimum 6 months of work experience or exposure to individuals with disabilities.
• Availability: At least 15 hours available during afternoons/evenings; typical sessions 3:00 pm–8:00 pm.
• Age: Must be 18 years or older.
• Transportation: Valid driver’s license and proof of auto insurance; travel compensated.
• Requirements: Pass criminal background check, TB tests, pre-employment exam, immunity proof to MMR and Varicella.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct ABA services under supervision.
• Collect data on goals throughout sessions.
• Work in home, community, school, clinic, or other settings with individuals with autism or related disabilities.
• Address problem behaviors using positive behavior support techniques.
• Assist with caregiver support and training.
• Arrive on time and end sessions punctually.
• Submit timecards and notes per policy.
• Collaborate with Supervisors/BCBAs.
• Follow ethical standards and company policies.
• Assist with new hire training through overlaps and shadowing.
