Job summary

The Community Builders, Inc. is seeking a Community Manager in Massachusetts to oversee all on-site operations, manage budgets, and ensure a high-quality living environment with strong resident services.

Reporting to the Regional Director of Property Management, you will align site performance with TCB’s mission and regulatory requirements. This role requires five days in the office, strong leadership, budgeting, and knowledge of Fair Housing laws.

Qualifications

• BA/BS and 5+ years in Residential Property Management or related field; 2+ years in a supervisory role
• Experience with budgeting, reporting, rent collection and audits
• COS, LIHTC, ARM, CPMC or similar certifications preferred
• Knowledge of Federal Fair Housing Laws & Guidelines a plus
• Strong communication and customer service skills; leadership abilities

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage operating budgets and financial reports
• Oversee property upkeep, inspections, and risk management
• Ensure compliance with regulations and AFFH marketing requirements
• Lead and coach on-site team; coordinate trainings and performance reviews
• Respond to emergencies and weekend/after-hours calls as needed
