Job summary

The Community Builders, Inc. (TCB) is seeking a Community Manager for a 202-unit community in Boston's Jamaica Plain. You will oversee budgets, occupancy, facilities, and resident services to promote stability and a high-quality living environment.

This role requires strong leadership, regulatory knowledge, and a focus on customer service. Collaboration with internal teams and community partners is essential, including on-call availability and weekend coverage as needed.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in related field and 5+ years in residential property management are required.
• Experience with affordable housing regulatory programs and lease compliance is essential.
• COS, LIHTC, ARM or similar designations are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage operating budgets and financial reporting.
• Oversee maintenance, safety, and regulatory audits; ensure lease compliance.
• Provide outstanding resident service and coordinate with Life and Pine Street Inn staff.
• Recruit, train, and lead on-site team; conduct performance reviews.
• Attend trainings and be available for emergencies and on-call duties.
