Qualifications

• Ph.D. or M.D. or other doctoral degree in science, medicine, or related field.
• Six years of research experience in science, medicine, or related fields.
• Extensive experience in molecular biology, biochemistry, and immunology research.
• Experience generating knockout mice and working with mice models.
• Experience with next generation sequencing methods (RNA-seq, etc.).
• Experience with flow cytometry, immunohistochemistry, and related techniques.

Responsibilities

• Perform immunology and molecular biology techniques with cells/tissues.
• Carry out biochemical assays, Western blotting, and related analyses.
• Work with sequencing, mass spectrometry, flow cytometry cores.
• Maintain mouse lines, breed and genotype as needed.
• Present research at national and international meetings.
• Draft and edit papers, posters, and manuscripts.
• Serve as scientific consultant and collaborator for fellows.
