The Weitz Company is seeking a Human Resources Specialist to support immigration, international transfers, and employee mobility programs. You will partner with candidates, managers, relocation vendors, and immigration counsel to deliver a seamless experience while ensuring compliance with immigration and employment laws.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in HR, immigration administration, or employee mobility.
• Working knowledge of employment laws and HR practices is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate employment-based immigration processes, including visa sponsorships and new case initiation.
• Serve as a key contact for immigration-related matters to internal and external stakeholders.
• Facilitate employee relocations and international transfers, coordinating with employees and relocation vendors.
• Maintain immigration records and tracking systems for compliance.
• Monitor work authorization expiration dates and coordinate renewals with employees and counsel.
• Prepare and review immigration case materials with HR leadership and counsel.
• Conduct audits and identify process improvements with HR management.
• Stay informed on employment laws and communicate with stakeholders.
