Fragomen is seeking a Business Immigration Associate in the San Jose, CA area to join a collegial, team-focused practice. You will build client relationships, craft immigration strategies, and supervise junior staff while maintaining high standards and compliance.

The role requires a U.S. JD or LLM, bar admission, and 5–8 years of experience. A hybrid work arrangement and competitive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• U.S. JD or LLM required.
• Member of a US State bar or Washington DC bar association.
• 5–8 years of Associate-level experience.
• Comprehensive knowledge of U.S. immigration law.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Build, strengthen, and maintain client relationships with key stakeholders and Partners.
• Formulate immigration strategies for intricate matters and present clear arguments.
• Engage with clients at middle/senior management levels and offer counsel.
• Independently execute case preparation and filing for complex matters.
• Lead process improvements, identify revenue opportunities, and mentor staff.
