Job summary

NWN is seeking a Solution Architect to provide sales support and project engineering for AV systems across North America. You will assist with client needs analysis, system design, proposal creation, and documentation, while maintaining strategic partner relationships.

The role requires strong experience in Q-SYS, Crestron, Extron, and video collaboration platforms, plus extensive AV and network knowledge. Remote-friendly with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field preferred or equivalent experience.
• Experience in technical leadership on small to medium projects in integration or support services.
• Extensive AV design and immersive solutions expertise required.
• Design experience with Q-SYS, Crestron, Extron and video collaboration platforms.

Responsibilities

• Act as the key technical advisor during the sales process with the sales team.
• Lead presales activities through solution implementation and client presentations.
• Develop scope of works, drawings, BOMs, and documentation for AV projects.
• Attend on-site meetings with local sales reps and provide remote discovery support.
• Architect cost-effective, reliable AV designs aligned with NWN best practices.
• Create SOWs, DRWs, BOMs and site survey documentation as required.
• Communicate technology positioning to both business and technical users.
• Identify technical issues and ensure customer satisfaction through all sales stages.
• Pursue vendor and industry certifications and deliver technology training.
