Job summary

NWN is seeking a Solution Architect to support sales and project engineering for Audio Visual opportunities. You will analyze client needs, design AV solutions, develop SOWs, drawings, BOMs and site surveys while collaborating with NWN partners and the sales team.

The role requires deep experience in AV design, strong vendor certifications, and the ability to present to both business and technical audiences. Remote work is allowed from AL, MS, TN, or LA with regular travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field strongly preferred, an equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience required.
• 2-4 years of experience in a technical leadership role on small to medium size projects in the areas of integration or support services.
• 5+ years of experience in the Professional Audio-Visual design and Expertise in Immersive Solutions required.
• Q-SYS, Crestron, Extron design experience required.
• Experience in Cisco, Zoom and Microsoft Team Room design required.
• 3+ years of Sales/Solution Engineer experience in Audio Video in recent years required.
• Experience with Visio required.
• Video conferencing and immersive solution certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Act as lead Sales Engineer during the presales process through solution implementation.
• Provide discovery (on-site/remote) support to capture environmental details for projects.
• Architect cost-effective, reliable, supportable AV designs based on client needs and NWN practices.
• Develop detailed Scope of Works (SOW), drawings, BOMs and site surveys as required.
• Articulate technology positioning to business and technical users.
• Attend on-site meetings with local sales reps several times per week.
• Deliver technology training to Sales and customers as requested.
