Job summary

NWN is seeking a Solution Architect to provide sales support and project engineering for Audio Visual initiatives across North America. You will analyze client needs, design AV systems, generate proposals, create drawings, and maintain strategic relationships with NWN partners.

The role involves leading presales activities, delivering cost-effective, reliable designs, and producing detailed documentation. Travel to customer sites will be required as needed, with remote work options available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field or equivalent experience.
• 2–4 years leading small to mid-size integration projects or support services.
• 5+ years in professional AV design and immersive solutions.
• Experience with Q-SYS, Crestron, Extron design.
• Experience with Cisco, Zoom and Microsoft Team Room design.
• 3+ years in Sales/Solution Engineer roles in AV.
• Experience with Visio and documentation drafting.
• Vendor certifications in AV (CTS/CTS-D/CTS-I, Crestron, Extron, BIAMP, Shure, QSC).

Responsibilities

• Act as lead Sales Engineer during presales through solution implementation.
• Support Sales team in requirement identification and solution design.
• Attend onsite customer meetings with local sales reps.
• Develop Scope of Works (SOW), line drawings, BOM, and site surveys as required.
• Articulate technology positioning to business and technical users.
• Identify technical issues to ensure complete customer satisfaction.
