Job summary

NWN is seeking a Solution Architect to provide technical leadership in sales and project engineering for AV solutions across North America. You will assist with client needs analysis, system design, proposal generation, and comprehensive documentation, including scopes of work and site surveys.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field strongly preferred, an equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience required.
• 2-4 years in a technical leadership role on small to medium projects (integration or support).
• 5+ years in Professional Audio-Visual design and expertise in immersive solutions.
• Experience with Q-SYS, Crestron, Extron design and vendor platforms.
• Experience with Cisco, Zoom and Microsoft Teams Room design.
• 3+ years in Sales/Solution Engineer roles in Audio Video.
• Experience with AutoCAD and/or Visio.
• Knowledge of IP Communications, Networking, Security, End User Computing, virtualization, and data centers.
• Strong written and verbal communication, client interface skills.

Responsibilities

• Act as lead solutions engineer during presales and project implementation.
• Drive and manage the technology evaluation stage of the sales process with the sales team.
• Provide requirement identification, solution design, and customer presentation support for AV projects.
• Attend onsite meetings with local sales reps to depict client needs and proposed solutions.
• Develop detailed scope of works, drawings, BOMs, and site surveys as required.
• Articulate technology positioning to business and technical users.
• Identify technical issues to ensure customer satisfaction across sales stages.
• Pursue ongoing vendor certifications and deliver technology training to sales and customers.
