Job summary

Flyover Chicago is seeking a seasonal part-time and regular full-time Guest Experience Guide (GEG) to help guests enjoy a safe, engaging experience. You may act as Greeter, Flight Guide, Entry Scanner, and Photographer, delivering friendly, informed service and facilitating smooth queues and photo packages.

Qualifications

• Availability to work a variety of shifts including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Comfortable standing for extended periods in indoor and outdoor environments.
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds as necessary.
• Solid knowledge base about Chicago and local area.
• Experience in tourism/hospitality is an asset.
• Public speaking is an asset.
• Fluency in another language is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Greeting guests and answering questions in a welcoming and positive manner.
• Providing accurate information on experience, price, restrictions, and content.
• Capturing guest photos and explaining photo packages.
• Organizing large groups into queues and communicating wait times.
• Directing guests around the venue and onto iRide gondolas.
• Ensuring safety precautions and reporting concerns.
• Lead by example to maintain procedures and service standards.
• Communicate efficiently using radio protocol.
• Assist with evacuations and shelter procedures when needed.
• Share knowledge about Navy Pier, Chicago, and local attractions.
• Perform other duties as needed.
