Job summary

FlyOver Las Vegas LLC is seeking a Guest Experience Guide to facilitate the movement of guests through the attraction in Las Vegas. As a guide, you'll be responsible for greeting guests, answering their questions, handling transactions, and ensuring safety on rides. The ideal candidate will have a flexible work schedule, problem-solving skills, and knowledge of the Las Vegas area. This role requires standing for long periods and engaging with guests in both indoor and outdoor environments.

Qualifications

  • Availability to work a variety of shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Comfortable working on your feet for extended periods in both indoor and outdoor environments.
  • Ability to lift loads of up to 30 pounds as necessary.
  • Extensive knowledge about Las Vegas and local area.

Responsibilities

  • Greeting guests and answering questions in a welcoming manner.
  • Taking and editing photos of guests and handling cash transactions.
  • Organizing large groups and calculating accurate wait time information.
  • Ensuring all ride safety precautions are met.

Job description

As a Guest Experience Guide, your goal is to facilitate the fun, engaging, efficient and safe movement of guests through the attraction. As a guide you may wear multiple hats as a Greeter, Flight Guide, Entry Scanner, and Photographer. You will have engaging interactions with our guests by bringing your best and anticipating guests’ needs while following Flyover standards and operating procedures. The Guest Experience Guides should always strive to maintain a positive attitude and a safe environment for all guests and team members.

What you'll do
  • Greeting guests and answering questions in a welcoming and positive manner
  • Ensuring accurate information is provided to guests, ensuring adequate expectations
  • Taking and editing photos of guests, while being knowledgeable about the photo packages and backgrounds
  • Handling cash transactions, ticket sales and other retail duties as required
  • Organizing large groups of people into correct queues, while calculating and communicating accurate wait time information
  • Directing guests around the different areas of the attraction and assisting them onto the ride
  • Ensuring all ride safety precautions are met, and informing the Operator and Supervisors of any concerns
  • Ensure Flyover operating procedures and service standards are consistently maintained
  • Communicate efficiently using proper radio protocol
  • Assisting with evacuation procedure in the event of an emergency and follow emergency preparedness plan
  • Possessing knowledge about Las Vegas and other attractions
  • Other duties and projects as assigned.
