Job summary

Flyover Attractions in Chicago is hiring a Ticket and Retail Agent (T&R) to ensure smooth, friendly guest flow at the attraction. You may wear multiple hats including Retail and Photo Agent, Ticket Seller, Scanner, Greeter, and Reservationist.

Seasonal part-time and regular full-time roles are available, with compensation at $18/hr USD. You will interact with guests, provide accurate information, process tickets, and support photo packages while maintaining a safe environment and high service

Qualifications

• Availability to work a variety of shifts including days, evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Able to stand for extended periods indoors and outdoors.
• Ability to lift loads up to 30 pounds as needed.
• Solid knowledge about Chicago and local area.
• Experience in tourism/hospitality is an asset.
• Cash handling and POS experience is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Greeting guests, scanning tickets, and answering questions in a welcoming manner.
• Providing accurate information on experience, price, restrictions and content.
• Editing guest photos and knowledge of photo packages and backgrounds.
• Cash handling and reconciliation.
• Encouraging upsells at the Point of Sale when appropriate.
• Ensuring safety procedures are followed and reporting concerns.
• Leading by example to uphold procedures and service standards.
• Communicating efficiently using radio protocols.
• Assisting with evacuation and shelter-in-place procedures when needed.
• Sharing knowledge about Navy Pier, Chicago and other attractions.

About the role

We are hiring for seasonal part time and regular full time T&R positions. The wage for this role is $18/hr USD and a full breakdown of perks and benefits will be discussed during the interview process.

What you'll do

• Greeti ng guests, scann ing tickets, and answering questions in a welcoming and positive manner.
• Ensuring accurate information is provided to guests in terms of experience, price, restrictions, and content.
• Editing photos of guests while being knowledgeable about photo packages and backgrounds.
• Cash handling and reconciliation.
• Encourage strategic upsells, as appropriate at Point of Sale.
• Ensuring all facility safety precautions are met and informing the Operator and Supervisors of any concerns.
• Lead by example to ensure Flyover Chicago operating procedures, safety of guests and team members, and service standards are consistently maintained by all team members.
• Communicate efficiently using proper radio protocol.
• Assist with evacuation and shelter-in-place procedures in the event of an emergency.
• Shareknowledgewith guestsaboutNavy Pier, Chicago,and othertourist attractions around thevenue.
• Other duties as required.
