Flyover Attractions in Chicago is seeking a Guest Experience Guide for Ticket & Retail roles. Seasonal part-time and regular full-time positions are available, with a wage of $18/hr USD. You will greet guests, scan tickets, assist with photo options, handle cash, and promote upsells while upholding safety standards.

Qualifications

• Availability to work varied shifts including days, evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Able to stand for extended periods indoors and outdoors.
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds as needed.
• Solid knowledge of Chicago and local area.
• Tourism/hospitality experience is a plus.
• Cash handling and POS experience is an asset.
• Public speaking experience is an asset.
• Fluency in a language in addition to English is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests, scan tickets, and answer questions in a welcoming way.
• Provide accurate information on experience, pricing, restrictions, and content.
• Edit guest photos and understand photo packages/backgrounds.
• Handle cash and reconcile cash drawer.
• Encourage upsells at the point of sale when appropriate.
• Ensure safety precautions are followed and report concerns to Supervisors.

About the role

As aTicket and Retail Agent (T&R), your goalistofacilitatethe fun, engaging, efficient and safe movement of guests through the attraction.Youmaywear multiple hats as a Retailand PhotoAgent,TicketSeller,Ticket Scanner,Greeter,and Reservationist.You will have engaging interactions with our guests bybringingyourbest andanticipatingguests’ needs while following Flyover standards and operating procedures.TheTicketand Retail Agentsshould always strive tomaintaina positive attitudeand a safeenvironmentfor all guestsand team members.

We are hiring for seasonal part time and regular full time T&R positions. The wage for this role is $18/hr USD and a full breakdown of perks and benefits will be discussed during the interview process.

What you'll do

• Greeti ng guests, scann ing tickets, and answering questions in a welcoming and positive manner.
• Ensuring accurate information is provided to guests in terms of experience, price, restrictions, and content.
• Editing photos of guests while being knowledgeable about photo packages and backgrounds.
• Cash handling and reconciliation.
• Encourage strategic upsells, as appropriate at Point of Sale.
• Ensuring all facility safety precautions are met and informing the Operator and Supervisors of any concerns.
• Lead by example to ensure Flyover Chicago operating procedures, safety of guests and team members, and service standards are consistently maintained by all team members.
• Communicate efficiently using proper radio protocol.
• Assist with evacuation and shelter-in-place procedures in the event of an emergency.
• Shareknowledgewith guestsaboutNavy Pier, Chicago,and othertourist attractions around thevenue.
• Other duties as required

Qualifications

• Availability to work a variety of shifts including days, evenings, weekends, and Holidays
• Comfortable working on your feet for extended periods of time in both an indoor and outdoor environments
• Ability to lift loads of up to 30 pounds as necessary
• Solid knowledge base about Chicago and local area
• Experience in the tourism/hospitality industry an asset
• Cash handling and Point of Sale experience is an asset
• Public speaking experience is an asset
• Fluency in a language in addition to English is an asset
