Job summary

Collectors Holdings, Inc. is seeking an Imaging Systems Engineer II to design, deploy, and optimize 2D/3D vision systems for high-quality product imaging. You will calibrate cameras, implement SOPs, and execute FAT/SAT to ensure reliability and efficiency across imaging workflows.

The role reports to the Process Automation Manager and is performed on-site at the Santa Ana, CA office with frequent travel up to 50%. A strong background in machine vision and imaging software is required.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or 2+ years in related field; or 1 year with a Master’s degree.
Hands-on experience deploying and troubleshooting machine vision equipment.
Strong knowledge of imaging software and hardware selection.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and test 2D and 3D vision systems with lighting, optics, cameras and controllers.
Deploy, calibrate, and maintain industrial camera systems (Keyence, Cognex, LMI).
Develop SOPs for machine vision and perform FAT/SAT for equipment.
Collaborate with software, operations and commercial teams on image handoff.
