A leading imaging firm in Santa Ana is seeking a hands-on Senior Machine Vision & Imaging Systems Engineer to lead imaging operations. Responsibilities include managing equipment deployment, troubleshooting issues, and refining workflows to achieve high-quality results. The ideal candidate has over 5 years of experience in machine vision and automated photography, strong leadership skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. This role is fully onsite with occasional travel.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in machine vision, imaging systems, or automated photography.
• 1–2 years in a lead, mentoring, or supervisory role.
• Strong hands-on skills in setting up and troubleshooting machine vision hardware.
• Deep knowledge of DSLR/mirrorless systems like Canon, Nikon, Sony.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Lead setup, calibration, and maintenance of imaging systems.
• Troubleshoot hardware/software issues across imaging and automation systems.
• Oversee equipment inventory and usage.
• Train and guide a team of imaging technicians.
