Job summary

UCI Health seeks a Supervisor of Imaging Float Pool to lead frontline supervision, coordinate daily workflow, and maintain clinical oversight across multiple imaging modalities. This role ensures staffing coverage, adherence to policies, and regulatory compliance.

You will mentor staff, drive competencies, and address operational challenges with urgency and professionalism. The position emphasizes onboarding and multi-modality training, with responsibility for quality, safety, and performance

Qualifications

• 3–5 years Radiology experience in a Lead or Senior Technologist role across modalities (xray, CT, MRI, US).
• Preferred supervisory experience in a hospital/teaching facility.
• Must have Radiography, Fluoroscopy, CT, or Mammography licenses and MR/other modality certifications.

Responsibilities

• Supervise imaging float pool coworkers across modalities, facilities and shifts.
• Coordinate daily workflow and ensure adequate staffing and safe, efficient imaging delivery.
• Onboard, orient, and train new float pool staff; monitor competencies and provide coaching and corrective action.
