Job summary

UCI Health is seeking a Supervisor, Imaging Services to lead day-to-day operations, provide technical guidance, and supervise staff across imaging modalities. The role emphasizes imaging quality, patient safety, and exceptional customer service within a large teaching facility.

The successful candidate will manage staff orientation, ongoing coaching, and performance management in alignment with UC Irvine health system policies and accreditation standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years Radiology experience in a Lead or Senior Technologist role in any modality.
• Preferred supervisory experience.
• Fluoroscopy license/certification.
• Experience in a large teaching facility.
• Certifications in one of the following: Fluoroscopy, CT, MRI, ARDMS.
• Appropriate license/certification based on specialty (CT, MRI, US).

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operational oversight of the imaging area, modality, shift, or location.
• Provide technical guidance, staff training, and coaching to ensure competency.
• Maintain imaging quality, patient safety, and customer service standards.
• Maintain accurate department records and ensure staffing coverage across shifts.
