Job summary

UCI Health is seeking a Supervisor for the Imaging Float Pool to oversee staffing, workflow, and clinical oversight across multiple imaging modalities and sites. The role ensures safe, compliant service delivery and acts as the primary resource for float pool staff during shifts.

You will lead onboarding, competency monitoring, and real-time coaching while addressing operational and patient-care issues in alignment with policy and accreditation standards.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years Radiology experience in a Lead or Senior Technologist role in xray, CT, MRI or US.
• Preferred supervisory experience.
• Fluoroscopy license/certification preferred.
• Experience in a large teaching facility is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee frontline supervision, daily workflow coordination, and clinical oversight of imaging float pool coworkers across modalities, facilities, and service areas.
• Ensure adequate staffing coverage and safe, efficient delivery of imaging services.
• Support onboarding, orientation, and multi-modality training for float pool coworkers; monitor competency and provide coaching.
