Job summary

UCI Health in Orange, CA seeks a Supervisor, Imaging Float Pool to oversee frontline supervision, daily workflow, and clinical oversight across imaging modalities. You will ensure staffing coverage, safe delivery of imaging services, and compliance with Joint Commission and state regulations.

You will lead onboarding, training, competency monitoring, coaching, and escalation of issues, coordinating with facilities and service areas to optimize performance and patient care.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years Radiology experience in a Lead or Senior Technologist role.
• Fluoroscopy license or certification preferred.
• Experience in a large teaching facility preferred.
• Active radiology certifications required as listed in Licenses and Certifications.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily workflow and staffing of imaging float pool.
• Assign coworkers based on demonstrated competency and patient care needs.
• Lead onboarding, orientation, and multi-modality training for float pool staff.
• Provide real-time coaching, feedback, and corrective action when warranted.
• Identify, resolve operational, staffing, and patient-care issues; escalate as needed.
