Job summary

UCI Health is seeking a Supervisor, Imaging Float Pool to oversee frontline supervision, workflow coordination, and clinical oversight across imaging modalities. The role ensures staffing coverage and safe, efficient imaging services in line with regulatory standards.

You will support onboarding and multi-modality training, conduct competency monitoring, and provide coaching to float pool staff, while addressing operational and patient-care issues as needed.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years Radiology lead/senior technologist experience in XRAY, CT, MRI or US.
• California CRT and/or CDPH Mammography certificate; ARRT registry OR MUST HAVE
• MRI: ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT registry OR MUST HAVE
• Ultrasound/Vascular/Echo: ARDMS, ARRT (S/VS), or CCI registry OR MUST HAVE
• Nuclear Medicine/PET: CDPH NMT certificate; NMTCB or ARRT (N) OR MUST HAVE
• Interventional/Cardiovascular: ARRT (VI/CI/CV) or CCI (RCIS)

Responsibilities

• Direct frontline supervision and daily workflow coordination of imaging float pool staff.
• Ensure adequate staffing coverage and safe delivery of imaging services.
• Mentor onboarding, orientation, and multi-modality training of float pool coworkers.
• Conduct ongoing competency monitoring and provide real-time coaching.
