Job summary

Sturdy Memorial Hospital is seeking a Scheduling Clerk for Imaging to ensure prompt, courteous, and accurate appointment scheduling. You will coordinate with imaging technologists, providers, and patients to keep exams on track.

The role requires at least 2 years of medical experience, excellent English communication, strong organization, and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with EMR systems (Meditech/Cerner preferred) is a plus.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Monitors and schedules imaging exams via EMR and scheduling pools.

• Notifies patients and providers of appointment details and requirements.
• Addresses scheduling issues and follows up as needed.
• Ensures insurance preauthorization information is documented.
