Job summary

X-Ray Associates of New Mexico has a Full-Time position available for a detail-oriented person to manage the processing, distribution, storage, and retrieval of patient records and to assist Technologists in patient workflow and in the completion of patient exams.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, ability to handle fluctuating workflows, and strong attention to detail. A Windows operating system proficiency, knowledge of medical terminology, and BLS certification are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED or equivalent.
• Must be able to deal with fluctuating workflow, and under occasional tight deadlines.
• Concentration and attention to detail in spite of constant interruptions a must.
• Must be able to operate computer using Windows Operating System.
• Previous knowledge preferred of medical terminology, imaging modalities, and procedures.
• Previous skills in operation of Hard Copy Film Viewing System and operation of general office equipment preferred.
• Experience starting IVs preferred
• BLS Certification required
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to multitask, stay organized, and support a fast-paced clinical environment
• Must maintain patient privacy and comply with HIPAA standards
• Ability to stand/walk for most of the day and assist with patient movement (lifting up to 75 lbs)
