Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proficiency with Windows OS and basic computer tasks.
• Excellent communication and customer service.
• Ability to locate and release records using computer systems.
• Valid NM driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to travel between XRANM locations when needed.

Responsibilities

• Process medical record requests received from patients and outside medical facilities.
• Monitor incoming faxes and process medical record loans as needed.
• Create CDs/DVDs and electronically transfer medical images to patients, physicians, and outside facilities.
• Answer incoming phone calls and gather necessary information to locate and release records.
• Coordinate the lending and distribution of imaging media to patients and physician offices.
• Assist radiologists with communicating STAT results to referring physicians.
• Travel to other XRANM locations as needed to perform assigned duties.
• Maintain patient privacy and comply with HIPAA requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
