You will work with radiologists, technologists, schedulers, and clinical staff to ensure complete patient records, orders, and correspondence before appointments.

The role focuses on data entry into EMR, maintaining worklists, and coordinating imaging workflows to support timely patient care.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum one year of computer experience in a medical office or healthcare setting.
  • Familiarity with imaging or clinical department workflows and documentation.
  • Strong knowledge of medical terminology.
  • Proficiency with EMR systems and imaging platforms; service line reporting systems preferred.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

  • Process and facilitate incoming orders and referrals into the EMR and imaging systems.
  • Maintain and clean imaging system worklists daily and resolve discrepancies.
  • Enter and verify patient information in the EMR, including provider details and outside records.
  • Request images and reports from outside facilities and route within department systems.
  • Manage patient correspondence, including mailing letters and processing returned mail.
  • Assist physicians and staff with administrative and system-related requests.
  • Provide scheduling support during high-volume periods or staff absences.
  • All other duties as assigned by supervisor or director.
