Job summary

VitalCheck Wellness in Illinois is seeking an Imaging Patient Coordinator to support a mobile mammography screening program. This is a temporary W-2, full-time position based in Springfield/Sangamon County and Champaign-Urbana, with a 9am-5pm schedule.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Previous administrative, medical front-desk, scheduling, or customer-service experience preferred.
• Healthcare, medical office, radiology, imaging center, hospital, or outpatient experience is a plus.
• Comfortable working directly with patients and handling confidential information.
• Basic computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients, assist with check-in and verify basic information.
• Provide registration, consent, screening, and medical history forms and review for completeness.
• Assist with appointment scheduling, confirmations, cancellations, and updates.
• Help maintain organized patient flow throughout the day.
• Answer questions on scheduling and visit logistics; route clinical questions as needed.
• Maintain, scan, upload, and organize patient records and documents.
• Support the Mammography Technologist with non-clinical administrative tasks.
• Maintain patient privacy and HIPAA compliance while creating a welcoming environment.
