Saint Alphonsus Imaging department seeks an Imaging Patient Care Specialist to provide exceptional customer service and administrative support. The role handles patient registration, insurance verification, scheduling, and ordering of imaging procedures while ensuring confidentiality and accuracy.

The position advances across three levels to recognize expertise, cross-training, and leadership within Medical Imaging.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in healthcare setting preferred.
• Knowledge of health insurance processes and medical terminology is advantageous.
• Proficiency with computer systems and registration software.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist patients, families, physicians, and visitors professionally.
• Register patients and verify demographic, insurance, and billing information.
• Schedule and order imaging procedures accurately and timely.
• Enter patient information into systems and maintain confidentiality.
• Assist with inquiries regarding imaging services and support departmental processes.
• Support onboarding, audits, and data integrity in Imaging departments.
